When you create an account, we store your email address, display name, and account preferences. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to Slangify.
Translations you make are saved to your history and favorites so you can access them later. History and favorites are private to your account.
Translations are generated by a third-party AI provider (OpenAI). The text you submit for translation is sent to OpenAI to produce your result. Do not submit sensitive personal information you don't want processed by AI services.
We use basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand which features are used (e.g. translations completed, regions selected). We do not sell analytics data.
We use a small number of essential cookies/local storage entries to keep you signed in and remember preferences like your default region and theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies at this time.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Slangify never sees or stores your full card details; Stripe handles them directly.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data (translations, favorites, profile) by contacting us through the contact page. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable period.
